The Spirit of Don Quixote Lives Through Liberty Fighters Network
Excerpt: We at Liberty Fighters Network are often seen as lone challengers against powerful institutions — mocked, marginalised, and misunderstood. But like Don Quixote, we remain steadfast in our conviction. The difference? Our giants are not imagined — they are real, systemic, and entrenched. This is not madness. It is resistance. And if the cost of standing alone is the price for standing for justice, then so be it.

Someone recently told me that the work I do — and by extension, the work of Liberty Fighters Network (LFN) — reminds them of Don Quixote. At first, I didn’t quite know how to take it. Was it meant as a compliment, an insult, or something in between? But as I reflected on it, I realised: the resemblance isn’t just apt — it’s powerful.
For those unfamiliar, Don Quixote is a fictional Spanish nobleman from the 1605 novel by Miguel de Cervantes. He becomes obsessed with chivalry and sets out to revive justice and honour in a world that had long abandoned both. People call him mad for charging at windmills he believes to be giants. They laugh at his idealism, pity his determination, and dismiss his battles as foolish.
Yet Don Quixote remained unwavering.
And perhaps, in the eyes of the establishment, that is what we at LFN appear to be — challengers of windmills. We dare to question courts, banks, the legal profession, and all the rules written to silence those without a legal title or a wealthy backing. We stand up for the self-represented. For the voiceless. For the individual against the mighty corporate or government machine. And we do so without fees, without favours, and without fear.
But unlike Quixote, our giants are very real.
They are the judicial officers who silently recuse themselves when caught out, the banks that send armies of lawyers to repossess our homes, the Registrar’s offices where records are ‘replaced’ or ‘corrected’ in silence, and the government bodies that operate as if their decisions are immune from public scrutiny or review.
To fight these giants, you do not need a title. You need conviction. You need faith. You need the unshakeable belief that injustice — no matter how institutionalised — must be resisted.
Yes, it often feels like I am alone in this battle. LFN is not some well-funded operation with salaried staff and political alliances. It is merely the outflow of my life’s calling — a commitment to fight, even when unacknowledged, and even when outnumbered. If I appear to have a massive following, it is only because I reflect the hope of many who no longer believe they can be heard.
But I do not need a crowd behind me to stand. Truth stands on its own.
Don Quixote was mocked for seeing monsters where others saw windmills. I, however, am condemned for seeing monsters exactly where they hide — behind robes, in boardrooms, and inside statutory silence.
So yes, call me Don Quixote if you must — but know this:
We at LFN are not chasing illusions.
We are unmasking them.
We are not clinging to fading dreams.
We are forcing forgotten rights back into the light.
We are not mad.
We are just not afraid anymore.
To all who read this — if you’ve ever felt silenced, dismissed, or alone in your search for justice, we urge you to stand with us. Support our work, share our mission, and let others know that giants can bleed — but only if someone dares to strike first.
